GRITTY HITCHCOCKIAN THRILLER TACKLES ILLEGAL ORGAN HARVESTING

For immediate release:

GRITTY HITCHCOCKIAN THRILLER TACKLES ILLEGAL ORGAN HARVESTING

November 17, 2013: (Long Beach, CA.) Five Strangers Films Inc. is now in production of a gritty psychological thriller/horror inspired by the urban legend of illegal organ harvesting.

A man wakes up in an abandoned motel room submerged in a tub of ice - his kidney is missing. It’s only a matter of time before he finds his wife in the adjacent room waiting to be the next victim to a horrible organ harvesting organization. Even though they’ve taken the trip to work on their failing marriage, they must now work together and use each other’s wits and skills to escape before their captors return and finish the job.

Multiple award-winning writer / director Marc Morgenstern achieved worldwide distribution with his first feature film The Vampire Conspiracy and now is tackling the seedy underbelly of illegal organ harvesting. Marc is joined by an all-star cast including: Tim Russ, (Star Trek: Voyager, Live Free and Die Hard), Christopher Showerman, (George of the Jungle 2, The Land That Time Forgot), Charlene Amoia, (How I Met Your Mother, American Reunion), Claudia Wells, (Back to the Future), Sachin Mehta, (The Advocate) and Oscar Winning Make-up artist Barney Burman (Star Trek 2009, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) consulting.

As a boost to the fundraising efforts, Five Strangers Films is offering a digital copy of VITALS, the screenplay for $1.00 for you to download and enjoy on your electronic devices.

The Vampire Conspiracy Graphic Novel Completed.

After several long months, the new Vampire Conspiracy graphic novel is now complete. Featured here is one of two possible covers. It's a thousand times better than the last one (considering the last one was only stills from the movie.) I've had artist Adam Gorham pump these pages out at a lightning pace. His vivid imagery and understanding of graphic story telling is incredible.

You can look for the premiere of the new Graphic Novel at this year's Fan Expo where we'll be selling a combination of DVD / Graphic Novel for only $5.00 - And you can get it signed by Adam or myself.

Also look for it in the coming months in the itunes store. We're trying to get it made to download as a iphone/ipod application.

Check back often for more stuff!

ABOUT THE VAMPIRE CONSPIRACY
Five strangers are abducted by a 250 year old vampire and forced to act as pawns in a game designed specifically for his morbid amusement in producer/writer/director Marc Morgenstern's dark thriller. To successfully navigate this twisted maze means to inherit the bloodsucker's entire fortune; to lose means to become the next meal for the powerful supernatural predator, transformed into a vampire, and dropped back in the maze to torment the next round of victims. The only clues that could lead them out of their dire predicament are a series of words written on the floor of the maze and the unintelligible ravings of a madman who had survived the previous game. When the group discovers an outside event that leaves each of them wanting the others dead, the situation quickly deteriorates as they attempt to figure out who they should fear most - the vampires, or each other

Vampire Conspiracy
A well thought out and written plotline carries this film, I was intrigued by the storyline and found myself either liking or hating the characters, particularly the scumbag lawyer. If you like intelligent storylines and dialog driven horror with just enough blood and beasties thrown into the mix, this one will fit the bill.

Five strangers are abducted by a 250 year-old vampire, and placed into a deadly game of wits and endurance. Should they make it through the maze alive, they will receive the vampire's entire fortune - riches beyond their wildest dreams. Should they fail, they become victims to his hunger and are placed back in the game. The only clues to their salvation are the seven words scrawled on the floor throughout the maze and an insane man who was a participant in the last game. Two guys are frantically trying to find their way out of what appears to be some strange house, one of them admits to having banged a 14 year old, solidifying his berth as the first victim (c’mon you know you want him to get it). Ghouls break in the room and ruin the moment and Mr. Pedophile is quickly dispatched providing a means for his buddy to escape. Not too long after escaping he runs into what looks like a stereotypical old-school vampire.
